TRUTH
We believe God has made himself known through the unchnging truth of his Word. This truth is embodied in the person of his Son, Jesus Christ, and made known to us through his Spirit.
We live in a culture that has a broad interest in spirituality and holds diverse beliefs, yet generally regards such things as matters of preference.
We seek to know and live according to God's truth. We proclaim God's truth humbly and respectfully so that others, led by his Spirit, may come to know God through Christ.

PEOPLE
We believe God created all people in his image, with dignity, purpose and the capacity to relate to him.
We live in a culture which values some people according to situation, achievements and background, and marginalises and de-values others.
We seek to love and value all people equally as God does and to share with them the good news of their preciousness to God and the hope that Jesus brings.

GRACE
We believe that the cross of Jesus declares God's limitless, self-sacrificial love for all people. Though people are sinful and undeserving, God graciously offers forgiveness, reconciliation with him and a new and eternal life.
Though we have received and daily experience God's grace, we often act in ways that are unloving and judgemental.
We seek to act self-sacrificially for the good of every person regardless of their beliefs, lifestyle or relationship with us. In word and deed we seek to share God's grace with everyone.

CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY
We believe that as Christian we are brothers and sisters in God's redeemed and spirit-filled community.
Tragically we have often not lived up to our calling as God's people, failing one another, failing our wider community and so failing God.
We seek to embrace all who know Christ as fellow members of His Church. In prayerful obedience to Christ and serving one another in love, we seek to be God's light in the world as we grow together in maturity in Christ.

DIVERSITY
We blieve God made the world in all its diversity and sent his Son to offer new life to people of all times, places and cultures.
We live in a vibrant and culturally diverse area, and an increasingly globalised world.
We value creative engagement with the people around us. We hope to see our church become a colourful and diverse community in accordance with God's Word, and God's kingdom extended around the world.
